Due to Overwhelming Response, Congressman Bridenstines’ Tax Reform Town Hall Changes Location to Spirit Bank Event Center

Aug 19, 2013
Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 19th, 2013 (Tulsa, OK) Due to the overwhelming response to Congressman Jim Bridenstine's “Tax Reform Town Hall” the event has been moved from the Broken Arrow campus of Northeastern State University to the Spirit Bank Event Center. The event will take place on Tuesday August 27th beginning at 6:30pm and feature an expert panel that will take questions from the audience and engage in dialogue on the current tax code and the future of tax reform. The panel includes radio talk show host and author Neal Boortz, Chief Economist and VP of Research for Freedomworks Dr. Wayne Brough, and tax lawyer and University of Tulsa College of Law professor Dennis Bires.

“The need for real tax reform and for a national discussion on the issue is critical,” said Congressman Bridenstine. “The current code is punishing businesses and families, crippling to economic growth, and enforced by an agency that has used their authority to target specific groups based on their political and religious beliefs.  We need real tax reform and I look forward to creating more opportunities like this for the residents of the first district of Oklahoma to engage in the conversation.”
