    This afternoon, the U.S. Senate refused to listen to the American people. The Senate failed to invoke cloture on the Motion to Proceed to consider HR 240[1], the House-passed bill which funds the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for the balance of Fiscal Year 2015. Invoking cloture is the first step to allow consideration of the bill in the Senate.
